Production Artist

The Production Artist position is responsible for building electronic page spreads in InDesign for Signature Styles. Primary responsibilities include: follow merchandise turnover to accurately populate all pages with page elements; create exploratory retouching as guided by art director and submit same once approved; execute changes throughout the production cycle as requested by merchandising; distribute hard and electronic version of each media at various benchmarks of the production cycle; populate DAM with Metadata as required; work closely with prepress and retouching to facilitate smooth release of accurate files to printer; accurately review production specs and adhere to deadlines for each assigned media and collateral marketing promotions; and traffic these pieces through creation to release to printer.

Specific Skills

Candidates must have 3+ years print production experience and it is preferred that they have a BA/BS. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Acrobat are essential. Experience building catalog pages is required, along with a working knowledge of print processes. Prior customer service or trafficking experience needed.
