TheLadders is looking for a hands-on Visual Designer to join our team. This individual will work under the Creative Director and carry out the Business Owner's and Director's vision to fruition, adding his or her own creative touch to develop effective online marketing and products.
Responsibilities
Create on-brand, on-strategy compelling online creative for online products and marketing that generates revenue
Concept and execute the visual counterpart of an interaction designer
Build and craft experiences from dynamic interfaces to large systematic website
Work with UX team members (Copy, IA) and Product Managers to proactively solve business problems
Understand Style Guide and ensure that all copy adheres to guidelines
Occasionally code your own UI
Requirements
3+ years of experience design in web, advertising and typography
Have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, typography and composition, and how they extend through the digital realm and its counterparts
Have an outgoing, strong personality and don't be afraid to make a point in a room full of senior people
Significant experience in Graphic Design
Exceptional communication skills within the team and with product stakeholders
Ability to function independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
Ability to produce high end, creative, and exceptional design work
An in-depth understanding of HTML, capabilities of web browsers, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash (animation and action scripting)
Encompass knowledge of Flash and motion design as well as visual/interactive/motion design trends
Very high attention to detail
Deep understanding of tools, trends, and foundation
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
An exceptional on-line portfolio showcasing innovative concepts and creative design solutions
